Tonight we return again the north... but this time we will go deeper into darkest Arkansas and on to Kansas City, MO.
The Pecan Street Festival was a windy dabacle, but fun nonetheless. We performed on the International Stage after a dizzying display of Asian dance numbers performed by about 60 children (they must've earned about $1.25 each for that gig). Several attendees of the festival took a break from eating funnel cake and perusing through boxes of trinkets to stare at us confusedly. Though we thought we were the wildcard of the afternoon, NOON performed after us and they probably took the cake for "weirdest" band on the international stage.
We're in the beginning stages of a new recording. This will be our first "album" (if such a thing exists anymore) and is tentatively slated for a release in late JULY right before our tour to the west this summer.
If you are NOT from AUSTIN and would like us to come play in your town, please contact us. We're planning a tour that will take us to El Paso, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, WA, OR, CA, AZ and then back to li'l old Texas. We can use suggestions and floors on which to crash.
