In 2010, we decided to re-visit, re-vamp and release our version of Iron Maiden’s “The Number of the Beast”. The idea was to re-arrange each of the tunes from the album in a different, new genre and in our own image. Here, we make each of the 9 tunes (including the bonus track/b-side Total Eclipse) available for free download on the 6th of each month.

We first performed the music of the Beast on Halloween 2007 at Austin’s Room 710 (RIP). Having spent a ton of time arranging the music, it seemed a shame to just let it go but many of the tunes didn’t get the full Invincible Czars treatment. We brought the Beast show back for Halloween 2010 (renaming it Gospel of the Beast) and have been releasing the singles since November of that year. The new genres are as follows:

Invaders – country
Children of the Damned – 80’s goth dance
The Prisoner – Caribbean (reggae/ska)
22 Acacia Avenue – 70’s Soul meets 90’s funk
Run to the Hills – Ennio Morricone western soundtrack music
Gospel of the Beast – gospel
Gangland – swing
Total Eclipse – latin
Hallowed Be Thy Name – psychedelic rock

WHAT? Free Downloads with no strings attached?
You got it, it's our way of saying thanks to our fans.

Here at The Invincible Czars, LLC, we revel in the idea of offering all of our music for free, but we have expenses, and like you, we gotta find a way to pay for our habit. Ours happens to be making music. So, for those of you who appreciate the spirit of adventurous music and can find a way to contribute to our cause, pick the currency of your choice (to the right) and donate any amount you wish via PayPal. We thank you in advance for your patronage!
